Pachyman is a Puerto Rico-born, Los Angeles-based producer and musician working in the lineage of dub reggae. Drawing from vintage production techniques and the methodologies of genre masters like King Tubby and The Scientist, Pachyman constructs expansive soundscapes that showcase an intuitive understanding of repetition, space, and sonic architecture.

Originally trained in reggae and experimental rock bands in Puerto Rico, Pachyman's artistic evolution reflects a diverse musical palette spanning synth-pop, dub techno, vaporwave, chillwave, soul-jazz, Kosmische musik, and krautrock. His work synthesizes these influences while remaining rooted in dub reggae's core philosophy, creating a distinctive sound that balances experimental edges with dancefloor-driven energy.

Recording in his basement studio 333 House, Pachyman is known for his meticulous approach to production, unconventional compositional methods, and emerging capabilities as a vocalist. His practice involves journaling and cyclical creative processes that inform both the conceptual and sonic direction of his work. Despite his demonstrated mastery of repetition, Pachyman constantly pushes against formulaic approaches, seeking new ways to evolve and inject spontaneity into his music while building his own distinct sonic world.
