Rawdrum is an accomplished session drummer and percussionist with 13+ years of live and studio experience, having begun their musical journey at age 9. Drawing from Arabic, Indian, West African, and contemporary percussion traditions, Rawdrum specialises in blending cultural rhythms and creating unique musical experiences that connect diverse sounds and audiences.

Inspired by progressive rock, jazz fusion, classical music, Afrobeat, Arabic and Turkish traditions, and Indian classical music, Rawdrum brings a distinctive rhythmic perspective to every project. Recent collaborations include work with Omar Souleyman, Caitlin McGrath, Reggie Pierre, Behani, William Barton, Jason Heerah, and Deborah Kelly, with performances at iconic venues and events including the MCG, Federation Square, Melbourne Recital Centre, Illawarra Folk Festival, Festival of King Island, Italian Forum Cultural Centre, Trak, and Electric Dreams.
